As I grew up, baking was a family tradition. I loved to be creative and learned to think outside of the box and create fun, delicious treats for my family and friends. After watching new creative ways of making cakes, I decided to turn it into a fun hobby, and then that love turned into a business. I opened my storefront in 2016 and have been blessed to offer custom delicious decadent cakes and desserts to my many clients.

People often ask how I came up with my business name. Marquette is my middle name, and it came from my dad’s welding machine. It was different and unique, just like my desserts. I use a play on my business name for my shipped sweets.

Our desserts are unique and we create decadent, moist cakes layered with delicious buttercream. We make all our cakes and desserts in-house and we create custom flavors too.

We only use kosher and top-rated ingredients to give our products a decadent taste and texture. Our products are in larger portions so they can be shared or enjoyed later. Our dessert treats are made fresh to order as well. I love what I do because making cake or dessert is a way to bring happiness, joy, comfort, laughs, and enjoyment to everyone. The cake is always better when shared with family and friends.

It blesses me to package up your sweets. It’s not just a business, it is me creating something delicious and being the bridge between you and your recipient. There are many reasons we send an item to someone, and when it is received, they should open it and feel the reason that it was sent for.
