The time has come! Baby, Keke Palmer is a mother! Palmer and her boyfriend Darius Jackson welcomed their first child into the world. They shared the priceless moments of their new family on Instagram, revealing that Leodis Andrellton Jackson was born during Black History Month.
“Hey Son!!!! Born during Black History Month, with a name to match,” she gleefully wrote on Instagram.
Throughout the Instagram post and caption, she revealed that she and Jackson have only been parents for 48 hours while also sharing intimate tidbits about their blissful relationship. “Darius always made me playlists when we first started dating, “Someone” by El Debarge was a favorite. We became each other’s someone and made a someone, look at God!,” she wrote. The Nope actress also made note that she’s not hiding the world from her son, “I’m not hiding the world from my son, I’m hiding my son from the world,” she joked.
On December 3rd, Palmer shocked the world with her epic pregnancy reveal during her first Saturday Night Live appearance and monologue. “There are some rumors going around; people have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I wanna set the record straight—I am!” she said before ripping open her coat to show off her bump. “I gotta say, though, it is bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you y’all, but it’s even worse when they’re correct.”
She continued, “I mean, like, I was trying so hard to keep it on the down low, cause I got a lot of stuff going on, you know? But honestly this has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited. Guys, I’m going to be a mom.”
Although she’s a new mom, we do not doubt that Palmer will stay booked and busy and we look forward to seeing pictures of her beautiful family.
